"At my first appointment with Abigail's, the consultant I met was so welcoming and made me feel completely at ease and relaxed.  I chose the Tatiana gown by Johanna Hehir, which was in the sale and more than a size too big.  However, Abigail's altered it for me so on the day it fitted me perfectly.  The dress was amazing, not only did I feel completely comfortable, sitting, standing or dancing, all of my guests commented on what a beautiful dress it was.

KEELEY REGAN AND ANDY MARCHANT - MARCH 2009



When Keeley Regan married Andy Marchant at The High Rocks, Tunbridge Wells, it was the end of a harrowing dress search for Keeley. Keeley originally put a deposit on a sample gown at a shop in London but when she went to retry the gown some months later, she realised that it simply wasn’t the dress for her.

Keeley says, "I eventually plucked up the courage to ring an old friend, Lola at Abigail's, and explain my situation. She couldn’t have been more helpful. My beautiful Necora dress arrived a few weeks before my wedding and Lola fitted me at her house on a Sunday and arranged for one of the seamstresses from Abigail’s to alter it in time. On the day it fitted perfectly.

“Lola also suggested that, as I was getting married in March, I might like to consider a shrug to wear over the gown. I’m so glad she did. Although the day was bright, it wasn’t very warm. The shrug, made by Abigail’s seamstress, really took the chill off the day. I took it off at the reception and, suddenly, I had a totally different look, as my dress was strapless.

“Lola came to the hotel where I was getting ready on the morning of the wedding and helped me dress. She even ironed the gown whilst I was wearing it! I knew I was getting special treatment but I understand that Abigail’s does offer this service, chargeable on an hourly basis.

“I cannot recommend the service, friendliness and professionalism of Lola and Nathalie highly enough. I had a truly wonderful wedding, married the man of my dreams and got to wear the gown of my dreams.
