Do I need to make an appointment?
You are more than welcome to visit our store to browse our collections. However, if you would like a personal consultation and to try on dresses, we do recommend you make an appointment, especially on Saturdays, to avoid waiting or disappointment.
Who should I bring to the appointment?
We advise that you bring one or two people to your initial appointment. Too many people can create conflicting opinions and make your decision even harder. You and your guests will have the private use of one of our fitting suites. The environment isn’t ideal for young children, as in our experience, we find they can get bored quickly and then distract you from enjoying your special time with us.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
We recommend that you wear a strapless bra as this helps when trying on the dresses and most importantly an open mind and time. Allow yourself enough time to enjoy the experience and try on dresses without pressure.
How long do I need to order my dress?
We recommend that you start looking for your dress about 12 months prior to your wedding, and ideally order your dress seven to nine months before the wedding. We are able to place “rush” orders to get the dresses in quicker but this will incur additional fees. Please do not panic if you do not have long until your wedding, we do have “off the peg” dresses which are available to take away immediately.
Do you offer a payment plan?
We are pleased to introduce our Flexible Interest Free payment option that allows you to spread the price of your wedding dress. Please ask in store for more details.
What happens at my dress fitting?
Once your gown arrives in store we will book you in for your first fitting with our in-house seamstress. You will need to have your wedding underwear and shoes for this appointment. As a general rule we advise that you will need two fitting appointments. The first for the dress to be pinned to fit you and the second appointment to check that the changes fit you perfectly. Our fittings are carried out on a Tuesday and a Friday, the alteration costs are in addition to the cost of your dress and are paid directly to the seamstress. You are not obliged to use our seamstress.
